For Modern 3 Wheel Locks made by Sargent & Greenleaf, LaGard and Kaba-Ilco:

IMPORTANT: Dialing your numbers must be accurate. Going past the number and then backing up will prevent the lock from opening.

Steps Directions
Step 1 Turn the dial 4 times to the left (counter-clockwise) stopping when the 1st number appears at the opening mark for the 4th time.
Step 2 Turn the dial 3 times to the right (clockwise) stopping when the 2nd number appears at the opening mark for the 3rd time.
Step 3 Turn the dial 2 times to the left (counter-clockwise) stopping when the 3rd number appears at the opening mark for the 2nd time.
Step 4 Gently turn the dial to right (clockwise) until dial comes to a dead stop (approximately at 95). If dial turns more than one revolution, an error has been made and you will need to start again.

IMPORTANT: If the above instructions do not open the lock after 5 attempts you should contact our service department immediately to schedule an appointment as it is possible your lock is malfunctioning or is in need of cleaning. Our Certified Master Safecrackers can open most safes without drilling, provided we are contacted before the problem worsens.
